Reclamo un Nobel para La Mujer, La Mujer que engendra vida, La Mujer a la que no se la contrata porque corre el riesgo de engendrar vida, La Mujer emigrante que saca adelante a la familia, La Mujer que sangra una vez al mes sin mostrar su dolor o que es aislada porque se la considera sucia, La Mujer que sabe encontrar solución para todo, La Mujer que lucha por la igualdad de derechos del resto de Las Mujeres, para La Mujer a la que se le impide trabajar, La Mujer que sufre maltrato porque el otro cree que “se lo merece”, para La Mujer que debe asumir peor salario que el del hombre porque ella, ella es Mujer, para la Mujer a la que se le cortan los genitales porque ella “no debe” sentir placer, la Mujer que debe comportase pudorosamente para que el hombre la considere deseable, La Mujer política que debe comportarse de manera masculina para que se la respete, La Mujer que es violada porque se la considera un objeto, La Mujer que debe callar su sufrimiento para evitar ser menospreciada, una Nobel para La Mujer que debe aceptar compartir marido, para La Mujer que debe abandonar el hogar por haber sido madre sin estar casada, porque la responsabilidad es de ella y no del padre, para La Mujer que debe hacer un doble esfuerzo para ser respetada, para La Mujer discriminada por no ser madre, para La Mujer a la que se le niega educación, por ser mujer, para La Mujer que no pudo ser pintora, ni escultora, ni escritora, porque la cultura, la religión y la sociedad, no lo permitían, para La Mujer que debe ser buena profesional, buena madre y buena hija y que es juzgada si en alguna de ellas falla, para La Mujer considerada como el sexo débil porque los religiosos así lo interpretaron.

Un Nobel para todas y cada una de ellas, porque a pesar de todo y gracias a su constante y, muchas veces, silenciosa lucha, han conseguido que poco a poco se las escuche. Y un Nobel para aquellas que aún sufren en silencio.

I claim a Nobel for Women, The Woman who brings life, The Woman who is not hired because she risk of engendering life, The immigrant Woman who pulls up the family, The Woman who bleeds once a month without showing her pain or who is isolated because she is considered dirty, The Woman who knows how to find a solution for everything, The Woman who fights for the rights of other women, for The woman who is prevented from working, The Woman who suffers abuse because the other believes that she "deserves" it, for The Woman who must assume worst wages than men because she, she is a woman, for The Woman who will get the genitals cut because she "should not" feel pleasure, The Woman who should behave modestly to be considered desirable by the man, The politician Woman who should behave in a masculine way in order to be respected, The Woman who is raped because she is considered an object, The Woman who must suffer in silent to avoid being despised, a Nobel for The Woman who must agree to share a husband, for The Woman who must leave home for being a single mother, because the responsibility is hers and not the father, for The Woman who must make a double effort to be respected, for The Woman who is discriminated for not to being a mother, for The Woman whose education is denied, just because she is a woman, for The Woman who could not be a painter or a sculptor or a writer, because culture, religion and society would not allow it, for The Woman who should be a good professional, a good mother and a good daughter and is judged if any of them fails, for The Women who is considered the “weaker sex” because religion was interpreted that way.

A Nobel for each and every one of them, because after all, thanks to her constant and often, silent struggle, She has managed to gradually be heard. And a Nobel for those who still suffer in silence.
